KaVonte Carthron, a Chicago native, professionally known as KC or Yah-Key is a social entrepreneur coining the phrase "Greatness Requires Intense Nonstop Drive" or the GRIND. Social & Emotional Learning constructs his viewpoint from above to illustrate his GRIND in a multifaceted approach through artistry as an international speaker and hip hop artist who has recorded and published four studio albums and four mixtapes during his journey from the GRIND to GRACE.

Immersed with intellectual flair, KaVonte is a Speaker, Rapper, Tech Entrepreneur and now Author. Nothing short of a miracle, he is an ordained minister, husband of over 10 years, and father of three. He is also the owner of
the #GodWork brand, which includes high intellectual property, clothing, music, and a non-profit organization.
As the founder of
GodWork Foundation, KaVonte has found his passion work. Extracting pieces of his multifaceted journey to create a social enterprise that fuels young people and their creativity through social-emotional learning to curb violence, technology and entrepreneurship.
